Still Near $4,000: Crypto Market Struggling to Recover
After another collapse last weekend, an uncertain recovery has returned to the market. Although now most of the top cryptocurrency traded in the red zone, there are some positive signals. BTC still holds near $4,000.
Last Monday, another crash hit the market. According to Coinmarketcap, the price of BTC has plunged to $3,697. The total market capitalization dropped to $118 billion. After that, signs of a small rebound began appearing on the market. Although at the time of publication, all the top cryptocurrencies are in the red zone, the market is still a little away from the shock at the beginning of last week.
Over the past day, BTC has dropped by 3.40%. But it manages to keep near the psychological mark. At the time of publication, the price was $4,014. Ripple continues being the second largest cryptocurrency in the world by market capitalization. The price of XRP over the 24H dropped by 2.75% and reached $0.360284.
Ethereum won back the third place in terms of capitalization from Stellar. Over the past 24 hours, the ETH has fallen by 3.52% and at the time of publication, it traded around $113. Stellar plunged 4.76% to $0.156373.
The total capitalization of cryptocurrencies holds at $130 billion. It rose by $12 billion from the last Monday ($118 billion).
