Softbank to Explore Blockchain-Based Identification System
The Japanese financial conglomerate Softbank will research into how blockchain can improve customer identification and authorization systems. For this, the bank has teamed up with US startup TBCASoft.
US blockchain startup TBCASoft has developed a system of customer identification and authorization called the Cross-Carrier Identification System (CCIS).
The Japanese bank SoftBank became interested in this system, and together with TBCASoft, as well as several telecoms operators, established a working group to determine what advantages the new blockchain identification system has.
