Pantera Capital Raised $125M of Investments, Despite a Bear Market
Pantera Capital, one of the most famous crypto venture funds, raised $125 million of investments for its newly established fund. And this is despite the bearish moods that have reigned on the crypto market since the end of 2017.
According to CoinDesk, Pantera Capital creates the third investment fund in a row. In total, the company plans to raise $175 million by the end of March this year. Of this sum, the company already has been managed to get $125 million. Although most of this amount — $100 million — Pantera Capital raised before August 2018.
According to Pantera Capital partner Paul Veradittikit, the bear market has hit the industry hard, and fundraising is not an exception. Also, according to him, wealthy individual investors have contributed the most to the new fund, and in general, Pantera Capital will be able to raise all the amount before the scheduled deadline.
The newly established fund will invest in crypto companies in the late stages of fundraising.
