Now You Can Buy BTC with Visa and MasterCard on Binance
Binance, the second largest crypto exchange in the world by the daily trading volume, implemented the purchasing of cryptocurrency through Visa and MasterCard payment card. The company Simplex becomes a payment processor of the new option.
Binance and Simplex announced the introduction of cryptocurrency purchasing with payment cards, including credit cards. For the start, it will be possible to buy bitcoins, ethereum, and litecoins. In the future, companies may expand this list.
“Easy and fast credit card payments, for mainstream users, is a key factor in wider adoption of crypto in general,” said co-founder and CEO of Simplex Nimrod Lehavi.
As for commissions, Simplex charges 3.5%. The minimum commission is set at $10. In addition, the service got limits on the purchase. On the daily basis, the client can invest in cryptocurrencies $20,000 max, and the monthly limit is $50,000. Also, banks that issued the cards may charge fees.
- Over the past six months, Binance has launched two crypto exchanges, where coins can be traded with fiat. One of them is located in Uganda and provides fiat trading with the national currency of the country. The second is registered in Europe, and on it, users can trade cryptocurrencies with the euro and British pounds.
