Lawsuit: Nano Must Hold a “Rescue Fork” to Return $180 million
US law firms Silver Miller and Levi & Korsinsky have filed a lawsuit against the developers of the cryptocurrency Nano and the crypto exchange BitGrail. They are demanding a “rescue fork” of the Nano blockchain to return $180 million to investors.
Law firms represent the interests of James Fabian and other investors in Nano cryptocurrency. According to the lawsuit, the developers of Nano called on investors to transfer coins to the accounts of the little-known, problematic BitGrail crypto exchange, due to which they lost money. The companies also sued the exchange itself and its CEO Francesco Firano.
In February 2018, BitGrail suffered from hacker attack. The malefactors managed to steal Nano worth $180 million. The exchange and the developers blame each other for the loss of investors' money and refuse to compensate to the affected clients.
Therefore, according to a class action, investors demand to hold the “rescue fork” of the Nano blockchain and return the money.
