Former CIA Agent: Blockchain is Super Powerful, Threatens US Security
An ex-employee of the US Central Intelligence Agency is confident that the blockchain has "a superpower". And the first one who learns how to manipulate it will "win."
Andrew Bustamante, an ex-agent of CIA, known for his blog “Everyday Espionage” on Reddit, is confident that the blockchain poses a threat to US security.
One Reddit user asked Andrew what he thought will be the biggest threat to US security in the near future. The user provided several answers: “North Korea”, “Iran”, “Russia” and “climate change”.
Andrew preferred his version - blockchain. According to him, innovative technology has a superpower. And the first one who learns how to hack and manipulate it will win.
Bustamante did not explain his position. But he hinted that quantum computers can completely change cryptography and thus blockchain.
