Ethereum Lost the Status of the Second Largest Crypto by the Market Cap

Ethereum dropped to third place in terms of market capitalization, giving up its place to Ripple. Crypto market still cannot get out of a steep dive. According to Coinmarketcap, the Bitcoin price collapsed below $3,300 on Friday. After that, the price increased slightly, and now BTC is trading at about $3,310.
Ethereum over the 24 hours has fallen by 2.95% to $86. Because of this, the cryptocurrency has lost the status of the second largest coin by market capitalization and dropped to third place. At the time of publication, ETH's capitalization was $8.9 billion, according to Coinmarketcap. Instead of Ethereum, Ripple is presently the second largest with a capitalization of $12.2 billion.
