Deloitte’s Global Survey: Business is Ready to Invest Millions in Blockchain
The auditing company Deloitte has released a global survey of business attitudes toward the blockchain. It turned out that most of the enterprises are ready to invest millions of dollars in innovative technology.
More than 1,000 top managers from completely various sectors of the economy took part in the Deloitte study. According to the company, 95% of respondents are already investing in the blockchain and are going to continue contributing. Moreover, 26% are ready to allocate $1-5 million for technology implementation. Other 23% wants to invest from $10 million and more. Moreover, 65% of respondents said they would invest $1 million in the blockchain in the coming year.
Among the most active investors in the blockchain are businesses from the United States, Canada, China, France, and Mexico.
Also, the study states that 84% of the polled managers believe the blockchain will be able to overcome problems with scalability, and it will lead to the massive adoption of technology.
As for specific areas of the economy, 70% of managers believe the blockchain will most change the automotive industry, the oil and gas industry, and the natural sciences. Another 64% are confident the financial sector will change dramatically due to the innovative technology.
Only 2% of respondents said that blockchain does not have significant value for their business.
