BTC Transactions Hit a One-Year High, Fees Drop Sharply
The number of transactions in the Bitcoin network has reached the maximum level for the last year. And fees for money transfers in BTC have fallen to a 4-year minimum.
According to the research company Diar, in January 2019 the number of transactions in the bitcoin network reached a maximum in the last year.
At the same time, the median cost of a transaction in US dollars has broken a new anti-record, dropping to the lowest level in the last 5 years.
Transaction fees have also collapsed, Diar claims. In January, the average commission fell to the level of 2015 and amounted to less than $0.1.
