To the Bottom: BTC Plunged Below $3,400, Ethereum Nosedived to Near $80
Thursday evening the cryptocurrency market suffered from heavy bleeding. Bitcoin price has fallen below the next psychological mark of $3,400. The total market capitalization of cryptocurrency fell to $106 billion.
Late on Thursday, another collapse hit the cryptocurrency market. According to Coinmarketcap, BTC fell by 10.6% over the past day and even reached $3,387. By the time of publication, the price has grown a bit and now Bitcoin is trading at $3,448.
The collapse also affected other top cryptocurrencies. Ripple price decreased by 8.88% to $0.309006. Ethereum nosedived by 14.27% in the last 24 hours and now costs $87. Stellar price dropped by 15.13% to $0.115633.
Bitcoin Cash lost 12.53% and reached $110. But his direct competitor, Bitcoin SV, managed to gain 18.16% and rose to $107.
The total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies collapsed more than $10 billion in a day.
